CHELSEA HANDLER SIGNS ON AS CELEBRITY JUDGE FOR THE 2008 MISS NEWPORT BEACH AND MISS NEWPORT BEACH TEEN PAGEANTS

E! WILL FILM THE EVENT FOR HANDLER’S HIT TV SHOW CHELSEA LATELY

(NEWPORT BEACH, CA) November 9, 2007 – Humorist and TV Host, Chelsea Handler, brings starpower, humor and her famed quick wit to the Celebrity Judging Panel of the 2008 Miss Newport Beach and Miss Teen Newport Beach pageants.

Ms Handler joins Sunset Tan owners and fellow E!-listers Devin Haman and Jeff Bozz. Chelsea will feature the event on her hit late night show Chelsea Lately, a program which The New York Times describes as "embarrassingly watchable."

“It’s awesome having Ms. Handler on board … She’s a brilliant comedian who will show the contestants that women can be both beautiful and fun,” comments Caren Lancona, Event Chair and CEO of B Scene Advertising Agency.

The pageant is Saturday, February 23, 2008 and is preceded by a slew of classes ranging from Stage Presence, Dance, Health and Fitness Training to Spokeswoman, Photo, Hair and Makeup sessions.
